"With attention to detail. With respect for history.
With heart."

About me,
my studies and experience
My name is Sara Cambalova, and art is my life's calling. From a young age, I watched my father at work as a restorer, cultivating a deep love for this art. My professional journey began at the Higher School of Applied Arts, where I gained my first experiences in the restoration and conservation of historical works. I continued my studies at the Academy of Fine Arts in Bratislava, specializing in restoration techniques and complex work with various materials. This training provided me with in-depth knowledge and a professional approach to detail, essential in this field. A key milestone in my education was studying at the prestigious Academy of Fine Arts in Venice. There, I dedicated myself to figurative sculpture and fully absorbed the beauty of classical aesthetics. This school, immersed in the historic setting of Venice, opened the doors to traditional Italian techniques, renowned for their precision and attention to detail. The techniques and knowledge I acquired in Venice form the foundation of my work today, in which I combine the spirit of the Renaissance with profound artistic expression. I subsequently expanded my experience in London, dedicating myself to modern art techniques and painting. Experimenting with new techniques and materials helped me expand my creative possibilities and find my own personal style. My works have been exhibited in important group shows in London, allowing me to make contacts in the art world and gain valuable experience. I spent time in Prague restoring an important historic building, the Troja Palace, which allowed me to apply my knowledge and deepen my experience in the restoration of external architecture. I currently live between Slovakia and Italy, where I dedicate myself to painting, sculpture, and restoration. Restoration is a family tradition, and since I was a child, I've seen it as a mission and part of my identity. Through my art, I try to unite past and present, creating works that tell stories, emotions, and a timeless message.
