Grounding, Nature, and the Tranquil Spirit of Northern Italy
The Green Italy series was born from a very special project: creating artwork tailored for a charming Airbnb apartment in the historic town of Cividale del Friuli in Northern Italy.
Immersed in the surrounding landscape, I found myself captivated by the region's rich natural palette—the deep, muted green of olive leaves, the warm golden glow of olive oil, and the endless blues of the sky, rivers, and streams that weave through the Friuli terrain.
These paintings carry a quiet, melancholic soul designed to invite stillness. Created specifically for the bedroom to complement its warm, earthy interior, they work on a subconscious level to soothe the mind, ease thoughts, and restore inner balance.
While working on this collection, I drew inspiration from daydreams of untouched green nature and the quiet harmony between forests, water, and sky. During this period, I was also exploring the subtle energies of the four elemental forces—Fire, Earth, Water, and Air. This series represents the Earth element: crafted to anchor, ground, and harmonize the space, transforming the room into a peaceful sanctuary.
